Concept 2 Consumer — home

Our process

From concept to consumer

Our process follows our eight service categories, in the order a project usually moves through them. Each stage is also a service you can hire us for on its own.

Start where you are

You don't have to begin at stage one. Have a prototype? We pick up at prototyping and testing. Need a brand, a website or marketing for an existing business? Start there.

Eight stages

Step by step

Each stage builds on the one before it, and each links to its services. Use one stage, several, or all of them with one partner.

  1. Stage 1: Market Research & Validation

Understand your market, your customers and your competitors, and what it will cost to launch, before you commit to design or production.

Typically delivered: Comprehensive market research report, Competitor research report, Customer segmentation report, Cost breakdown report.

  2. Stage 2: Intellectual Property

Patent, trademark and copyright services to help protect your products, your brand and your original work.

Typically delivered: Patent review summary, Trademark search report, Copyright registration certificate.

  3. Stage 3: Product Design & Development

From first concept to production-ready design: ideation, 3D renderings and detailed design specifications.

Typically delivered: Product concept sketches or outlines, High-resolution 3D renderings, Final design files.

  4. Stage 4: Prototyping

Physical, working prototypes, then the testing and certification a product needs before it goes to market.

Typically delivered: Functional prototype, Testing results report.

  5. Stage 5: Sourcing & Manufacturing

Find and negotiate with the right suppliers, then manage the move from prototype to full-scale production, with quality control and timeline management.

Typically delivered: Sourcing report, Manufacturing plan.

  6. Stage 6: Brand, Web & Packaging Development

The brand identity, website and packaging that present your business or product, plus the barcodes and branded merchandise that carry it further.

Typically delivered: Brand name and logo files, in formats for different uses, Live website, Packaging design files, UPC and GTIN codes.

  7. Stage 7: Marketing & Sales

The strategy, campaigns, content and analysis that build awareness and drive sales, across digital, print, social, Amazon and email.

Typically delivered: Comprehensive marketing strategy document, Marketing content package, Sales strategy document, including a roadmap for implementation, Sales analysis report, Post-launch performance report.

  8. Stage 8: Logistics

Plan how your product gets from the factory to your customers: transportation, warehousing, distribution partners and channels.

Typically delivered: Logistics plan, Distribution network report.

How we work with you

Four steps to get started

Every engagement starts the same way: you tell us what you are working on, and we decide together whether we're the right partner for it.

  1. Tell us what you need

Share your project and where it stands today: an idea, a product, or a business that needs help.

  2. Initial consultation

If there's a fit, we talk through your goals, constraints, timing and budget, candidly.

  3. Tailored proposal

A proposal scoped to your project: what we'll do, what you own and what it takes.

  4. Dedicated partnership

A project manager and our network of strategic partners carry the work forward with you.
