Glossary · Selling to retail

Retail chargeback

An amount a retailer subtracts from what it pays a supplier, often for compliance or shipping errors. Not the same as a credit-card chargeback.

Why it matters for a product launch

Deductions come off what you're paid, and each retailer has its own supplier rules, so learn them before you ship.

General definition for education only, not legal, tax or customs advice.
