Logistics Planning

From the factory door to your customer's, planned before the first pallet moves.

Request to be considered

Every request is reviewed personally.

The problem

Making the product is half the job. Moving it is the other half.

Freight, customs, warehousing and last-mile delivery each have their own costs, schedules and failure points.

  • Your production is nearly done and you haven't planned how it gets anywhere.
  • You don't know whether you need a warehouse, a third-party logistics provider or neither.
  • You've been surprised by freight costs or delays before.

Fit

Who we consider for Logistics Planning

For products about to ship, and businesses that want a plan rather than a scramble.

Who this is for

  • You have production scheduled and need transportation and warehousing planned.
  • You're shipping to retailers, to a marketplace's warehouses or direct to customers.
  • You want distribution channels coordinated so delivery is on time.

How it works

How it works

Every engagement is scoped to what you need, on its own or combined with other services into one program. When a project needs outside expertise, such as specialized testing and certification labs, marketing or creative agencies, or logistics and packaging suppliers, we manage those vendors and specialists for you.

  1. Tell us what you need

Share your project and where it stands today. A line or two is plenty.

  2. Initial consultation

If there's a fit, we talk through your goals, constraints, timing and budget, candidly.

  3. Tailored proposal

A proposal scoped to what you need: what we'll do and what it takes.

  4. Dedicated partnership

A project manager and our network of strategic partners carry the work forward with you.

FAQ

Questions, answered plainly

Do you arrange the freight?

We develop the logistics plan and coordinate the channels. The carriers, forwarders and warehouses are specialist vendors, and we manage them for you as part of the plan.

Does this cover importing?

If your product is made overseas, the plan covers the route from the factory, including the freight and customs steps, to wherever it needs to be. Duties and compliance questions may need a customs broker, which we coordinate.

Do I need a warehouse?

Maybe not. The plan compares the options for your volume and channels: your own space, a third-party warehouse, or shipping direct.

Can you reduce my shipping costs?

A good plan usually finds savings in routing, consolidation and carton configuration, but we won't promise a number before we've seen your product and volumes.

What does it cost?

Every engagement is scoped to what you need, so we price it in a proposal after we have reviewed your request. We'll be candid about budget and fit from the first conversation.

What happens after I submit?

Every request is reviewed personally, and we'll be in touch about next steps.
